Fast becoming another regular contributor at ENDE. American doom electronics producer Contact Low lays another EP on us!
"Hide Your Wounds/Second Best" is two tracks of death industrial/power electronics noise with live vocals.
The first track "Hide Your Wounds" is searing, distorted pads and guitars backing a statement of intent through various vocal effects.
The second "Second Best" is a more power electronics affair of confrontational, high pitched noise and menacing vocal delivery.
Some of CL's best work yet. He departs from the doom to temporarily give us just under 10 minutes of industrial noise hell. Somewhere between the more visceral moments of 1000 Homo DJs and English power electronic masters Whitehouse.
